DISTRICT MEETING
REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 4
A DISTRICT MEETING of Regional School District No. 4 of the State of Connecticut, whose member towns are the towns of Chester, Deep River and Essex, will be held in the John Winthrop Middle School Library on MAY 1, 2023, at 7:00 P.M., for the following purposes:
To adopt a Regional Education Budget of ($22,254,390) twenty two million, two hundred fifty four thousand, three hundred ninety dollars for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023.
The meeting will adjourn to a yes/no vote on the budget which will take place on the voting machines in each of the member towns on the day following the District Meeting; therefore, the vote on voting machines will take place May 2, 2023 from six a.m. to eight p.m.
Copies of the proposed budget are available on the district website for Chester, Deep River, Essex and Region 4 at http://www.reg4.k12.ct.us , and at the Town Clerk's Office of each of the Towns of Chester, Deep River and Essex.
