Registrars of Voters
The Office of the Registrar of Voters is responsible for the operation, administration and direction of elections with primary responsibility for the registration of voters in all matters pertaining to elections in the Town of Deep River. The Registrars work under the direction of the Secretary of the State, in accordance with the Connecticut General Statutes. Registrars are elected for two-year terms, one from each major party.
The polling location is Community Meeting Room of the Deep River Public Library, 150 Main Street, Deep River
Voter Registration Requirements
To register in Connecticut, you must:
- be a United States citizen
- be a resident of a Connecticut town
- be at least 17 years old (must turn 18 on or before election day)
- have completed confinement and parole if previously convicted of a felony and have had your voting rights restored by Registrar
