Here Is What We Recycle!!!

Newspaper

Place newspapers in a brown paper bag or tie them with cotton or fiber twine. DO NOT include newspapers contaminated with food waste, paper towels, or food wrappers.

Mixed Paper

This includes junk mail, computer printer paper, magazines and catalogs. These materials get tied along with your newspapers. Punch out plastic or glassine windows from envelopes. Shred any paper with personal information to prevent identity theft.

Boxboard (Chipboard)

This includes shoe boxes, cereal boxes and pasta boxes. Remove plastic windows from pasta boxes and wax liners from cereal boxes. This also includes juice boxes and milk cartons, rinse these and remove straws. Flatten these items and include them with your bundled newspaper and mixed paper.

The above categories get put in the roll off marked "newspaper and office paper"

Corrugated Cardboard

Cut cardboard into small sections and deposit in roll off marked "CORRUGATED CARDBOARD".

Glass, Aluminum, steel and plastic, jars, bottles, and aluminum food trays

Rinse all items, labels do not need to be removed. These items are to be deposited in the roll off marked "GLASS AND PLASTIC". Please do not include light bulbs, toys, pots and pans, window glass, dishes and other ceramic items, coat hangers, flower pots or plastic bags

  • Large Items such as furniture etc. are to be placed down below in the roll off

  • Any household garbage left after recycling, goes in the hopper
