Deep River Water Pollution Control Authority

On Monday June 6,2022 a Public Hearing was held in accordance with Sections 7-249 through 7-258 of the General Statutes ofConnecticut.

Be it resolved by the Deep River Water Pollution Control Authority, in a special meeting held subsequent to a Public Hearing in accordance with provisions ofthe Deep River Water Pollution Control Authority Regulations, as amended, and the Provisions of Section 7-255 ofthe General Statutes ofConnecticut, as amended, that:

For the Fiscal Year 2022-2023, an Operation and Maintenance Charge of$435. (Four Hundred thirty-five Dollars) per year per Equivalent Dwelling Unit (EDU) shall be levied on all properties served by the Town ofDeep River Municipal sanitary sewer system.

The Operation and Maintenance Charge shall be due and payable in two installments on October 1 and April 1 of each calendar year. Charges not paid to the Town ofDeep River Tax Collector within thirty (30) days ofthe due date shall thereupon be delinquent and shall bear interest from the due date until such charge is paid in full. Interest shall be computed in the manner provided in Section 7-258 and 12-146 ofthe General Statutes of Connecticut as amended.
