REMINDER: A message from our First Selectman regarding COVID-19

LOCAL TESTING UPDATE:

Free COVID-19 testing is coming to our area. Community Health Center is providing pop up testing sites for both symptomatic and asymptomatic residents over the next three weeks.  New details about locations in Chester or Deep River are highlighted below:

Friday, 10/29, 9am-1 pm. CHC Old Saybrook, 263 Main St, Old Saybrook

Wednesday, 11/4, 9am-1 pm. St. Joseph's Church Parish Ctr, 47 Middlesex Avenue, Chester

Thursday, 11/5, 9am-1 pm CHC Old Saybrook, 263 Main St, Old Saybrook

Thursday, 11/12, 9am-1 pm CHC Old Saybrook, 263 Main St, Old Saybrook

Tuesday, 11/17, 9am-1pm. St. Joseph's Church Parish Ctr, 47 Middlesex Avenue, Chester

This is the PCR nasal swab test - results will be available in 2-3 days and can be sent via email or text.

Please continue to be vigilant and do all you can to control further spread. Wear your mask, keep your distance while in public, and wash your hands.

Let's continue to keep our neighbors in mind and use the same common sense and good judgment that has helped Deep River maintain a low positivity rate overall.
