Reminder: Town Meeting Followed by Special Board of Selectmen Meeting Tonight, Tuesday, 2/6 at 6:30 pm /

Here is a reminder about tonight’s town meeting at 6:30 pm followed by a special BOS meeting at 7pm. The town meeting will be to approve expenditures from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) totaling $110K for the following: $85K for new accounting software; $25K for a large generator for the Public Works garage.

The special BOS meeting will hear presentations from groups and organizations regarding requests for the remaining ARPA funds. Currently $220K remains to be allocated. No actions will be made this evening. This is a good time to come out and hear what is being proposed. Limited time will be given for audience of citizens comments at the conclusion of the presentation.
