Road Closure -Essex St. Choose alternate route

Good afternoon,
At this time, the rain storm is behind us but currently we have about 2 inches of water over the street at the Essex Street bridge by Pratt Cove. Please do not attempt to drive through the water, as due to low tide, the water is anticipated to get deeper. We'd hate to have anyone get stuck.
Please choose an alternate route until the water subsides.
